IPL- Indian Premier League, a famous and dominating league in the world. Most of the star cricketer had played or have the dream to play this league. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, "THE GOD OF CRICKET" had completed 1000 runs in just 31 innings, fastest till the date of this post.

size & shape of stumps and bails

The three wooden stumps that are 28 inches (71.12 cm) tall. These three stumps are together known as the wicket. The stumps are placed along the batting crease with equal distances between each stump. They are positioned so they are 9 inches (22.86 cm) wide. Two wooden bails are placed in shallow grooves on top of the stumps.there are a total of six stumps, three stumps on each side pitch on which cricket is to play.

• The third (middle) stump was introduced in 1775 after Lumpy Stevens bowled three successive deliveries to John Small that went straight through the two stumps rather than hitting them.
